Something a little different from me. I love macro photography and have a few macro shots in my gallery (not a big one at that), but they're mostly of the abstract/macro and flower variety. I've not really played around when it comes to insects and macro photography so consider me a n00b lol. I suppose I've never really given it a go because I don't have a dedicated macro lens. Nevertheless, I thought I'd have a stab with the camera I have and... well... this is the end result. With the right equipment I'd love to explore this some more.
As for the bumblebee, it was so cute. I was seriously resisting the urge to just touch it and feel its fur.
I appreciate and reply to all comments, I just don't reply on my deviation page because (1) I don't like it looking messy with lots of replies (I could hide them but I don't like hiding such things) (2) I like the number of comments I've received to be accurate and only show actual comments, not count replies as a comments.

I love the tones and contrasts, and the great details, on this hairy creature.
