PHOTO DESCRIPTION

Kernow a'gas dynnergh (Cornish) / Welcome to Cornwall
Part of a postcard-esque series of Cornwall.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second in series: Kernow a'gas dynnergh II
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Location: Newquay, Cornwall, England

This is one of the first of the lovely views I saw near the beginning of the coastal walk between Fistral and Newquay harbour. We stopped for a moment to just enjoy the view and then decided to shoot away.

Later shots of this scene I used a tripod to ensure a crisp shot, although funny enough I settled for one of the earlier hand held shots as the composition was slightly better. Plus it was really awkward the way the tripod had to be placed

The tide was out so it would be interesting to see what it would look like in. Shot this in the morning when the sky was a little more hazy, but I kinda like the way it looks.

Edit: Before submitting this photo I was a little hesitant about the colours, but I thought it was just me being picky as usual. After viewing the photo a lot more, I decided that I really wasn't happy with the amount of red and yellow in it, so I edited the photo again and I'm much happier with the results. I've provided a link to the original version.

Gorgeously shot. The details, the vibrant colors, and depth are quite appealing. Great balance in the composition. It has an epic, never ending feel to it. Lush and magical.
