Wow, I can hardly believe I've been a member on this site for six years now. For me, that's a very long time to have stayed an active member on a site. Lots of things have happened over those six years... a lot of changes and a whole lot of drama to go with it, but it wouldn't be dA without the drama now would it?

In those six years I've had the opportunity to experience what DTFs (earlier days) felt like, what becoming a senior was like and the shock of it, getting the chance to work on the MN@ Team with a bunch of awesome people and receive a Daily Deviation. More importantly though, I feel like I've really grown as an artist because of my time here and I'm far from done yet!
So to mark six years of deviousness, what does one do? Well I started yesterday typing up a long journal with some ideas I got from =
rotane from his fifth anniversary. Although I ended up having some pains and taking pain killers which made me drowsy. So I gave up on a lot of it and this is what you have. Damn it's still a long journal but not half as long as it would have been.
6 Random Facts
1. Contrary to what a lot of people believe because of the way I am online, I'm extremely shy in person and quite reserved. It takes me a little bit to feel comfortable around some people.
2. I'm a pretty organised person and like my routines. I'd feel completely lost without them. Even down to planning for the week what dinners I'll have on each day as I don't like the hassle of trying to figure out what to cook each night. Most things have to be planned... spontaneity scares me, but I'm working on it.
3. My memory is shocking. Sometimes I'll end up asking something several times because I've just forgot. This drives some people nuts. I have a short attention span and I really can't multitask to save my life.
4. I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to animals and insects. I don't think it's cool to try and kick seagulls, I don't think it's funny to scare and chase pigeons and I dislike it when people feel the need to kill spiders and so on just because they're simply scared of them. I have a habit of "saving" insects that happen to fall into pools of water.
5. If I talk to people from other countries (be it typing or actually talking) a lot, I tend to pick up some of their way of typing/talking English, which then makes it look like English isn't my first language LOL. I have no idea why this actually happens as it doesn't happen with anyone where English is their first language.
6. I'm really not into those tag games at all. I've been tagged loads of times, but I never do them. The more popular they are, the less I'll do them. I hate following the crowd and doing "trendy" things (this actually applies to a lot of things) even if some things aren't all that bad. I don't like being yet another person doing something that's been done too much. Yes, I am stubborn :B

Ranty Rant
Okay, so like I'm really into giving comments with favourites right? Well critique more than anything, but anyways. I won't get into my whole opinion about that because it'll be long winded and I partly did when I submitted that fav with comments stamp. Which leads me to my little rant (yeah a rant from me, amazing).
So what do we have? A stamp that's about having favs with comments instead of favs alone. A stamp that has a decent enough description about the whole favs without comments problem and my opinion on it. Okay so I'm thinking that the people that would like that stamp are people that support giving/receiving favs with comments, right? Then why the hell am I having people +faving that stamp and leaving no comments? Yeah, +fav a stamp and don't leave a comment on it even though it's a stamp basically against that whole thing. Seriously, wtf is up with that? 67 comments and 83 favourites. Even after I added in bold at the top of the stamp description:
"Please read the description guys and understand what this stamp is about instead of going against everything it stands for by +faving it and leaving no comment. Come on."Yet it's still happening. So I'm left to think that it's either a case of people not reading artist's descriptions (as usual, but the stamp should speak for itself), being truly retarded, like receiving favs with comments but don't care to do the same for others or just plain disrespectful. Really though, if I see something that says critique isn't desired, I for sure won't critique it. Is it that hard to comment on a stamp that supports commenting? Nice one guys

Last month was a weird month. For a good part of it I wasn't feeling too well. I bought myself a nice Samsung 32" LCD TV. Next I want my camera. I'm so over winter and want spring to kick in so I can take some photos. It's been too long. Oh and it's March which means it's my birthday this month :B
